What you need on Social Needs: Top Ten Papers in Social Emergency Medicine
Harrison Alter, MD MS; Jahan Fahimi, MD MPH; Ewen Wang, MD
For the last few years at the annual meeting of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM), Drs. Ewen Wang of Stanford University, Jahan Fahimi of UCSF, and Harrison Alter have been privileged to present a course reviewing key contributions to the literature in Social Emergency Medicine. They typically present their favorites in a context of furthering either the science or the practice of Social Emergency Medicine, or both, and comment on both the methods and the findings. If you find yourself at SAEM's meeting and we're still doing this, come by! It's a lot of fun.
